Tom is a Senior Consultant for Valtech Technologies. Tom has over twenty years of experience of “in the trenches” development work. During this time he has been there while the industry adopted new technologies and transformed its development models from chaotic to classical waterfall to Agile. Tom has been a practitioner of various development paradigms and it was a natural evolution to adopt Agile since he was already using many agile-like practices which he discovered well before Agile had a name. Tom has worked in companies both large and small, teams both large and small and projects both large and small. He spent six years running his own consulting company where he came to really understand the importance of serving the customer. In addition to technical skills he is also skilled in teaching, training and leading teams.
Tom is a Certified ScrumMaster and is member of the Educational and Coaching Services staff at Valtech where he specializes in helping teams transform to agile developement practices.
