- Alan was an excellent instructor, both in his presentation style and also his knowledge of Scrum. The course content was a combination of Intro to Scrum, along with Intro to being a ScrumMaster, so perhaps it was a little light on the latter's content. But on the whole, this was an excellent course.
- Instructor was obviously knowledgeable, educated, and experienced on the topic. Led the class well, encouraged participation, answered questions, and maintained good control of class.
- Good class over all. Would like instructor to provide more real life scenarios.
- Class was well managed and organized.
- He was an excellent trainer and I will be recommending his class. He was always very upbeat and kept the class fun.
- Alan was an amazing instructor, bringing his professional experience and wide spectrum of knowledge of agile philosophies into the training to provide an exceptional experience to everyone. He was able to field almost every question thrown at him, and the ones he was not able to answer; he was able to provide data on where someone may begin a search. Alan went above and beyond the requirements of him, staying late after the class both days to answer questions by attendees, staying until no one felt unsatisfied with his answers. I would gladly attend another course if Alan were to teach it.
- GREAT class - the content and instruction were valuable to experienced and new Agile users!
- I almost wanted the course to be one day longer so that topics could be covered in more detail.
- There could have been more material on situations - e.g. how to deal with managers, people not participating, etc.
- Alan Atlas was a great teacher. Can't add anything to make his class better.
- Very interesting course and knowledgeable instructor.
- Course was interactive and the energy level was high throughout.
- The instructor was great. Very animated and entertaining -- made it relatively easy to sit through what might have otherwise been a 2 day snooze fest.
- The class was great; the instructor was very dynamic and well-informed, and the topics were well chosen.
- I like the way of teaching that Alan used, it was enjoyable and we learned something that we can start from.
- Alan was great and very clear, with illustrative examples and stories, and with a good sense of humor.
- Outstanding instructor. Alan invited questions, even the hard questions.
- Alan's experience was vital in providing validation that the methodology can be implemented for any type of project.
- Alan is a very good communicator. He is very enthusiastic, well-organized and cares to cover and clarify all issues brought up by the attendees! However, I believe that the course materials can be improved by the addition of a tutorial running example!
- Alan did a great job with a very complex subject.
- I felt that less time could have been spent in defending Scrum from other SDLC processes.
- Great to have someone with the right front-lines, real world experience who also has a talent for teaching!
- More team exercises/activities would make this course much more educational and beneficial.
- Some of the exercises got long, but Alan seemed to move us on quickly when they bogged down.
- Excellent course! Looking forward to trying to apply principles.
- The training was very good, it could have been better if we spent a little more time beyond the practices of Agile on how the scrum master can help the team be more productive.
- Alan has an engaging personality, a great understanding of the material, and a passion for Agile. I would have liked more! If anything, I felt that the Sprint Retrospective piece was a bit rushed toward the end.
- I found Alan to be an excellent instructor.
- It was fun and more than a Scrum Training Class!!
- I've heard a number of people at Answers comment on what a joy it was to learn from Alan. We all appreciated the way in which he mixed comedy, discussion, and group exercises to make the concepts easier to digest.
