Comments:
  • I am new to Agile and so struggled with certain concepts. However, Ms. Roth was very helpful and provided a large array of documentation and books which I think will help.
  • This class was well organized and fun.
  • Ronica was excellent, hard to imagine having a better instructor.
  • I found that Ronica was able to answer questions from everyone in the room in a way that we could all apply the answers. I think that her experience working in a scrum setting helps her to understand complex issues. Also, I enjoyed that we had an informal environment but that we were still able to get everything accomplished.
  • Ronica was excellent. She knew her topic and her profession very well. I really enjoyed the class and would take more from her.
  • Ronica did a great job delivering the content and keeping the group on task. A few members of the class were at a more advanced stage in their Agile understanding and would perhaps benefit from a more advanced class rather than this class.
  • Great job keeping chatty-Cathys from monopolizing the discussion
  • Great experience.
  • She was very open to class interaction and informative on Agile practices.
  • Nice and flexible given that the weather conditions made a number of participants late for the first session.
  • The instructor is a passionate advocate for agile process and this passion carries well into the class.
  • Overall the course was very good. At times, we got off topic or lost track of where we needed to be at.
  • Ronica is certainly knowledgeable about Agile principles and practices and presented the material well.
  • Presenter skipped back/forth among the material...not sure she covered all topics equally.
  • She was awesome! What a great course - thank you so much for being such a great teacher, and for having such cool hair!!
  • Awesome job by Ronica. It was a very full class and she covered all the topics and allowed quite a bit of class discussion.
  • Ronica's vibrant personality kept everyone engaged and on task. I loved what I learned, I'm a whole-hearted Scrum enthusiast now.
  • Fantastic, upbeat style of teaching, with good humor thrown in. Really brought you into the subject. Possibly the best course I've been on.
  • This was one of the best courses I've attended! Very well done with a very energetic & engaged instructor!
  • Ronica was proactive in getting newbies' doubts cleared. Also she went extra miles to get real life examples and even engaging other students with some scrum expertise to pitch in and exchange views. This augmented the classroom learning even further. Came out of the 2 day class with quite a handful of values and an eagerness to apply them at the earliest. Good job!
  • She did a wonderful job. I think the more examples from real life the better.
  • I am looking not for basic but for more advanced agile training, if there is one available
  • Provide examples of possible answers to the class exercises.
  • Please use less paper.
  • Make sure if it is for begineers then specify the category or experience in agile.
  • The trainer is very knolwedgable but was easily distracted by impertinent questions and comments from participants. These distractions stole so much time away from the agenda that the trainer needed to gloss over the most crucial details. I feel she could have managed the questions better by saying "Great question! And we'll cover that soon!"
  • Excepptional. The "5" is overutilized by respondents in the surveys. So I want to emphasize. In 20 years of going to Prof Dev classes, and having been a corporate trainer, I can say hands down, the best trainer I've had. Communicates clearly, with effect examples to illustrate. Looks for feedback to determine understanding. She doesn't just answer questions, she gets to what the student needs to know and addresses that (better then just about any instructor I've seen). When looking for classes, I'll generally consider location and schedule. I would now look first to see if she offers a class that meets my current need before pulling futher narrowing it down. And I will recommend the same to others in my organization (Scrum is band new to us, I'm the first ScrumMaster)
  • I belong to a group that has been practicing Scrum (Trained by Rally) for the past year and this course was an affirmation that we were doing the right thing in our Scrum adoption. My expectation was that I was going to learn new and more advanced Scrum techniques.
  • #5)For me, the overview could have been shorter and I would have preferred more attention to day 2 topics. #6) The instructor did a good job of working with a room that was constrained by lack of space and few layout options, poor ventalation, poor av equipment. #8a) The primary instructor handled questions very well. The number of questions may have slowed the pace of the class so that by end of day two we had to rush. I found the questions asked by the class to be of value though. #8b) I feel that questions were not handled as well when the in-training instructor led the class. My take, he erred on the side of pace/schedule . -I can't have it both ways and you can't make everyone happy ;)
  • Ronica was "AWESOME"-her energy level was always high, was very patient with questions and giving answers. Vibsh was extremely knowledgeable and 'calm' with everything that was thrown at him. both were a pleasure to have as instructors - travis
  • Very educational
  • I have a big chanllenge to implement the Agile process for my team, I call it the great Theory vs Reality. So I am struggling to bridge the gap. LIke to get more help if possible.
  • First day contained largely review for those already familiar with general Agile & project management principles. Second day, when nuts & bolts of Scrum were presented, was very rushed due to poor preparation of co-instructor.
  • Ronika is great, wonderful, dynamic, and a superb teacher.
  • Ronica was an excellent instructor with a unique style and a lot of energy. I learned a lot and fulfilled all my expectations and goals.
  • Excellent course, excellent trainer. This was inspirational.
  • Great class. Good mix of fun and professionalism - definitely not mutually exclusive ideas - just like a good collaborative Scrum team!
  • Ronica was a great instructor. She was energetic, knowledgable, kept the class engaged, and was always approachable.
  • This was a fantastic course, and Ronica did an excellent job presenting the material. I can't wait to put this new knowledge into practice.
  • Ronica was energetic and creative in presenting the product owner training.
  • I really enjoyed the training. Ronica had great personal examples from previous projects and that really helped. I would have liked to have heard more of them for sure. Her casual, relaxed approach really made the class fun.
