Enterprise Technical Account Manager
Rally Software Development (www.rallydev.com) located in Boulder, CO is a dynamic, growing company that provides software-driven enterprises with the knowledge, coaching and tooling needed to succeed with Agile development practices.
Due to our success, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Enterprise Technical Account Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide onsite product implementation and Agile best practices coaching and advice.
- Directly responsible for teaming with the account manager through all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Provide product presentations, demonstrations to executive and management audience, and trade show support.
- Manage product trials and prepare RFP/RFI responses.
- Follow up on accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience.
- Coordinate resources to facilitate additional sales, training and consulting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in technology/software organizations with a solid software development background and full understanding of the Application Development Lifecycle, J2EE and Web Services.
- Experience with Agile processes such as Scrum, XP, Lean, FDD, DSDM, or Crystal.
- Experience selling solutions and support in Enterprise Software or Services.
- Ideally prefer 3-5 years in a pre-sales, sales engineer or consulting/training role.
- Must be autonomous and organized with effective communication skills, listening, verbal and written.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials and projects.
- Experience with creation, customization and delivery of consulting, coaching or training highly desired.
- Team player with interpersonal skills to work with sales and technical consulting staff in a dynamic and innovative company environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology or equivalent related experience.
- Available for travel up to 50%.
Locations: Boulder (our home) preferred, but Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco/San Jose would be strongly considered (other locations potentially negotiable for strong applicants)
