Due to our exponential growth we are seeking motivated to join our sales organization.
This leader:
- Create account strategy and assist the sales teams in the identification, development, and management of a pipeline of opportunities to closure.
- Lead teams in penetrating new markets, driving new accounts to revenue targets and assist in the closure of complex, high end deals.
- Partner engagement - Assist in the development of services strategy with territory team and key strategic delivery partners.
- Create sales strategy for complex services offering.
- Manage Rally's strategic accounts and ensure 100% customer satisfaction within client base.
- Recruit, train and build outside and inside sales team.
- Responsible for team reporting -Accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments and maintain accurate dashboard information on accounts in Salesforce.com.
- Adept at taking raw data, putting logic behind it to create meaningful assumptions that can be communicated to the team and management.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive positioning of Rally's solution.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years prior management experience with a proven track record of consistently attaining team sales goals in a software sales environment.
- 7+ years prior experience in a senior sales role managing global and large national accounts with a history of closing multiple deals of over $5 million each.
- Proven track record of selling to CEOs, CFOs, VPs, and Directors of Business Units
- Servant leader management style with the ability to communicate in an informational and inspiring manner.
- The ability to listen, probe and communicate complex technology and value propositions.
- A passion for creating customer success.
- Strong budgeting skills with proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and web based applications.
- Experience negotiating, closing and managing license agreements.
- Prior experience in software tools or application lifecycle management applications highly desired with knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum, XP or Lean extremely helpful.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and persuasive confidence.
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience with creation and innovation in a rapidly growing environment. Able to champion initiatives and new innovations that align with and help drive the sales roadmap.
Education:
Bachelors in Business, Computer Science or similar with MBA a plus

25 to 40%
